Just a selection of passion and fun!

Since my first job in '98, I've been passionate about my industry. I've only worked on projects I believe in and used my expertise. And I'm committed to continuing this trend and staying true to my values.

From World Expo 2000 till today

One of my first major consulting projects was to support the development of a story-driven attraction for World Expo 2000 in Hannover for the Cologne-based agency facts & fiction.

Recently, I have been consulting companies like Karls, Showman Roland Barth, Westfield Shopping Center, Schloss Dankern, Schwaben Park, and Holland Park. Due to NDAs with my clients, I am not able to discuss all the details, but I can provide some examples and links to my past work.

Schloss Dankern.jpg

Germany's largest holiday resort is family-owned and has evolved continuously since it opened in 1972. Generations of families have vacationed around the castle of Dankern in one of more than 800 holiday homes.

In 2007, I began serving as a spokesperson for Schloss Dankern until 2018.

Between 2021 and 2024, I supported the third generation of owners in developing new ideas to drive future growth for the amusement park, holiday resort, and related operations.

Karls, probably the world's most unusual theme park company, operates seven amusement parks. The parks are themed like strawberry farms.

In December 2016, I was entrusted by Robert Dahl, the owner of Karls, with a monumental task. I was tasked with leading the development of a roller coaster near Berlin, a multi-million-euro investment. From the initial concept to the grand opening in April 2018, I steered the project, bringing K2 to life: a fully themed roller coaster with a dark ride section that showcases the process of making potato chips from potatoes. This unconventional yet innovative attraction is a testament to Karls' unique approach and my success as a project manager of a major attraction.

In 2022, I was appointed brand ambassador for Karls' upcoming new park at Westfield Centro shopping centre in Oberhausen, Germany, which will open in summer 2026.

The Westfield Centro Shopping Center in Oberhausen, Germany, has successfully integrated leisure elements into its shopping experience. I have been assisting the new owner of Germany's largest shopping centre since 2016 in introducing new leisure attractions and securing a new operator for their 8-hectare outdoor amusement park. Thanks to my network, we secured a Legoland Discovery Center and implemented the Expo Hall, which has hosted a Smurf exhibition and now houses the House of Magic by the Ehrlich Brothers. Additionally, my assistance helped secure a new operator for the amusement park.

Our work takes us worldwide, from China and Brunei to Vietnam, Sweden, Sicily, the USA, and Mexico. We specialise in capturing the emotions of excited guests and riders in promotional videos and photos.

A trackless dark ride system from ETF at the Munich-based film studio needed to make room for a new attraction at the end of the 2020 season. The tourist attraction contacted me to find a new owner for that ride system within a very short period. I found a buyer within a few months. The ride reopened as Drachen Magic at Magic Park Verden in Germany.
